Council Minutes of 11/6/91 <br />LEGISLATION (CONTINUED) <br />anticipation o the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of providing funds to pay <br />costs of the judgment renderer against the City in Civil Action Number C82-3089 <br />in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, Eastern <br />Division, and losses, damages and expenses relatesd. thereto, and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. Tallon noted that the signed Fiscal Officer's Certificate was <br />attached to the Ordinance. Mr. Tallon moved for suspension of the rules <br />requiring three readings and camii.ttee review; second by Mrs. Saringer; passed <br />unanimously. Mr. Tallon moved for adoption; second by Mrs. Saringer; passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance No. 91-165 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 91-166 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Tallon. <br />An ordinance providing far the issuance and sale of $200,000 Hates, in antici- <br />pation of the issuance of bonds, to pay costs of acquiring an emergency rescue <br />vehicle and equipment, including turn out gear, air packs axxl. tanks, radio <br />equipment, hoses and nozzles, for use in carrying out functions of the Division <br />of Fire of the Department of Public Safety, and declaring an emergency Mr. <br />Tallon noted that the signed Fiscal Officer's Certificate was attached. to the <br />Ordinance. Mr. Tallon zroved for suspansion of the rules rec}ui.ring three readings <br />and committee review; second by Mrs. Saringer; passed unania~usly. Mr. Tallon <br />moved for adoption; second by Mrs. Saringer; passed unanimously. Ordinance <br />No. 91-166 adopted, <br />Ordinance No. 91-167 was introduced and. placed on first reading by Mr. Tallon. <br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of a $100,000 mote, in anticipa- <br />tion of the issuance of bonds, to pay costs of imgroving the City's street system <br />by acquiring and installing signals, signs and other equipment and devices to <br />direct anal control the flow of vehicular and p~estrian traffic, and declaring an <br />urgency. Mr. Tallon noted that the signed Fiscal Officer's Certificate was <br />attached to the Ordinance. Mr. Tallon moved for suspension of the rules <br />requiring three readings anrd co~mittee review; secorxi by Mr. Lind; passed <br />unanimously. Mr. Tallon moved for adoption; second by Mr. Lind; passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance No. 91-167 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 91-168 was introduced ark glared on first reading by Mr. Tallon. <br />An ordinance providing for the issuance oral sale of a $100,000 note, in <br />anticipation of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of acquiring a motor <br />vehicle and related equipment for the Department of Public Service, and. declaring <br />an emergency. Ordinance No. 91-168 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 91-169 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Tallon. <br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of a $100,000 note, in antici- <br />pation of the issuance of bonds, to pay costs of improving the m~uni.ci.pal sewerage <br />system by acquiring, constructing and installing storm sewers, storm water <br />retention basins, storm water drainage control equipment and catch basins, <br />together with the necessary appurtenances thereto, and declaring. an emergency. <br />Mr. Tallon noted that the signed Fiscal Officer's Certificate was attached to the <br />Ordinance.
