Council Minutes of 7/2/91 <br />LEGISLATI~T (CONTINUED) <br />Reso ution No. -10 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Nashar. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for and <br />accept bids for the improvement of the Park Ridge subdivision, Phase I, as <br />detailed in the specifications on file, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for <br />same, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Nashar moved for suspension of the rules <br />requiring three readings and committee review; second by Mrs. Beringer; passed <br />unanimously. Mr. Nashar moved for adoption; seco~ by Mr. Lind; passed <br />unanimously. Resolution No. 91-101 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 91-102 was introduced and placed ari first. reading by Mrs. <br />Beringer. An ordinance authorizing atd directing the City Engineer to accept and <br />record dedication plats establishing additional right-of-way for Country Club <br />Boulevard at Lorain Road and Victoria Lane, atd declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 91-104 was introduced acd placed on first readi.rig by Mr. Tallon. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Personnel and Administrative Services to <br />solicit bids for the purchase of a life insurance policy insuring full time <br />administrative employees and all elected public officials for term insurance in <br />the amount of ten thousand dollars ($10,000). <br />Resolution No. 91-105 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mrs. Babas. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Personnel and Administrative Services to <br />seek proposals for hospitalization, medical-surgical insurance coverage and <br />benefits for employees of the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. <br />Mrs. Babas moved for suspension of tl~e rules requiring three rem and <br />committee review; second by Mr. Lind; passed tmanimously. Mrs. B~ahas moved for <br />adoption; second by Mr. Lind; passed unanimously. Resolution No. 91-105 adopted. <br />Miscellaneous Business <br />Mrs. Beringer move to refer Ordinance No. 91-103 to the Planning Commission to <br />be heard at their next meeting; second by Mrs. Babas; passed unanimously. <br />Mr. Tallon moved to approve the standing committees of Council with Mr. Lind <br />assuming the committee assgrmments of Mr. O'Grady; Mr. Lind ass~ani.ng the <br />Chairmanship of the Transportation Committee; Mr. Leonard as~sming the <br />Chairmanship of the Public Safety, Health, and Welfare Committee; second by Mrs. <br />Babas. Roll call: Mr. Tallan, yes; Mrs. Babas, yes; Mrs. Saring+~s, yes; Mr. <br />Nashar, yes; Mr. McKay, no; Mr. Leonard, yes; Mr. Lind, yes.
