Resolution No. 91-51 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 91-52 was introduced by Mr. Nashar and given its first <br />reading. Mr. Nashar moved for suspension of the rules requiring <br />three readings and committee review; second by Mrs. Beringer; paad <br />unanimously. Mr. Nashar moved for adoption; second by Mrs. Beringer; <br />passed unanimously. Resolution No. 91-52 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 91-54 was introduced by Mr. O'Grady on behalf of the <br />Mayor and the entire Council and given its first reading. A resolution <br />in opposition to the passage of douse Bill 44. Mr. O'Grady moved. for <br />suspension of the rules requiring three readings er~d committee review; <br />second by Mrs. Bahas; passed unanimously. Mr. O'Grady moved for <br />adoption; second by Mrs. Bahas; passed unanimously. Resolutiom No. <br />91-54 adopted. <br />Miscellaneous Business <br />Mr. Ta on move to go into executive session to discuss the lawsuit by <br />Great Northern Corporation; secorc~d by Mr. Nashar; passed unanimously. <br />Council adjourned for executive session at 9:36 p.m. <br />Council reconvened at 9:52 p.m. <br />Mr. O'Grady asked the Mayor why the Cuyahoga Planning Commission was <br />using the population figure of 36,570 to compute our share of costs for <br />the solid waste assessments. The Census Bureau figure was approximately <br />34,000. <br />Mayor Boyle agreed there was a discrepancy and is plaxming to discuss <br />this with the Committee. Apparently, the Census Bureau is not supplying <br />the correct information. Ile further stated that a ramnber of cities Wray <br />file suit against the Census Bureau because they feel their population <br />count is not correct. <br />Mr. Tallon scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Thursday, March 21, <br />at 8 p.m. <br />9 <br /> <br />
