MINtTrES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF FORTH OLMSTID <br />MARCH 5, 1991 <br />Present: Council President Boehmer, Council Members Babas, McKay, <br />Nashar, Saringer, Tallan. <br />Also Present: Mayor Ed Boyle, Law Director Michael Garesu, Finance <br />Director James Burns, Clerk of Council Barbara Semen. <br />Absent: Council Members Leonard and O'Grady. <br />Council President Boehsner called the.meeting to order at 8 p.m. in <br />Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Members of the audience were invited to join Council in reciting the <br />Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />Minutes of the regular meeting of February 19, 1991 were approved. <br />Minutes of the special meeting of February 25, 1991 were approved. <br />Minutes of the special meeting of February 27, 1991 were approved. <br />Mr. Boehmer announced that Ordinance No. 91-50 would be added to the <br />agenda. <br />Mr. McKay moved to amend the agenda to consider Resolution No. 91-48; <br />second by Mr. Nashar; passed unanimously. <br />President Boehmer invited Florence Campbell to come forward for the <br />reading of Resolution No. 91-48. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Reso ution No. 91-48 was introduced and placed an first reading by Mr. <br />McKay an behalf of the Mayor and the entire Council. A resolution <br />commending the public service of Clerk of Council, Florence E. Campbell. <br />The resolution was read in its entirety--listing Florence's many a~ <br />varied duties, enumerating hex many abilities and accomplishc~ents, and <br />wishing her a harvest of sunshine and happiness in her retirement. Mr. <br />McKay moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and <br />referral to committee; second by Mrs. Beringer; passed unanimously. Mr. <br />McKay moved for adoption; second by Mrs. Beringer; passed unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 91-48 adopted. Members of Council, the Administration, <br />and the audience stood and warmly recognized Florence. <br />Mayor Boyle presented a proclamatian to Florence Campbell recognizing <br />her service to the City. The proclamation listed Florence's service and <br />accomplishments, noting that she is held in high regard. by both <br />legislators and administrators, and assuring her that she will be missed <br />by everyone who had worked with her. Mayor Boyle proclaimed Wednesday, <br />March 6, as Florence Campbell Day. Florence was again recognized by all <br />present. <br />Mrs. Campbell thanked everyone and said that it had been a privilege and <br />an honor to serve Council. <br />1 <br />
