MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />:: <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />JANUARY 15, 1991 <br />Present: President Pro Tem Bahas, Council Members Leonard, McKay, <br />Nashar, O'Grady, Saringer, Tallon. <br />Also Present: Mayor Edward Boyle, Law Director Michael Gareau, Finance <br />Director James Burns, Acting Clerk Barbara Seman. <br />Absent: Council President BoeYaner. <br />President Pro Tem Bahas called the meeting to order at 8:15 p.m. in <br />Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Scout Leader, Mr, David Dillon, led all present in reciting the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag. <br />A silent prayer was offered for our country and for peace in the Middle <br />East. <br />Mrs. Bahas announced that President Boel~ner was absent due to the illness <br />of his wife, Ruth. Prayers and wishes for a speedy recovery were offered <br />for Mrs. Boehmer. <br />Minutes of the regular Council meeting of January 2, 1991 were approved. <br />Mr. McKay moved to amend the agenda to consider Resolutions 91-6 and <br />91-7; second by Mrs. Saringer; passed unanimously. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Resolution No. 91-6 was introduced by Mr. McKay on behalf of the Council <br />and the Mayor. A resolutian commending the achievements by Robert <br />Robitaille of the Eagle Scout Award in Boy Scouting. Mr. McKay moved for <br />suspension of the rules and committee report; second. by Mr. Leonard; <br />passed uoanimously. Mr. McKay moved for adoption; second by Mr. O'Grady; <br />passed unanimously. Resolution No. 91-6 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 91-7 was introduced by Mr. McKay on behalf of Council and <br />the Mayor. A resolution commending the achievements by Stephen Hess of <br />the Eagle Scout Award in Boy Scouting. Mr. McKay moved for suspension of <br />the rules and committee report; secorxi by Mrs. Saringer; passed <br />unanimously. Mr. McKay moved for adoption; second by Mrs. Saringer; <br />passed unanimously. Resolution No. 91-7 adopted. <br />Mayor Boyle read proclamations commending Robert and Stephen on their <br />achievement of the Eagle Scout Award. The achievements of the young men <br />were recognized by the Council, the Administration, and the audience. <br />Mayor Boyle proclaimed Sunday, February 3, 1991, to be observed as Four <br />Chaplain Sunday and called upon all citizens to co~rnnemorate the day. <br />1 <br />
