Council Mirrutes of 1/2/91 <br />Mayor Boyle assured Mr. Mergel that a City crew is cleaning ditches; a <br />second crew will be put ~ if the income tax passes. Cleaning began <br />in known problem areas; row the crew has gone to the end of the line and <br />is working up-stream. It was suggested that Mr. Mergel also meet with <br />Service Director Bohlmarni. <br />Monica Geffert Crissler, daughter of Frank Geffert, 4336 Lansing Drive, <br />asked when Phase III, which would include Lansing Drive, would begin. <br />She also suggested that flooding problems increased when the sanitary <br />sub-station on Oring Road was removed. <br />Mayor Boyle responded that a timetable for relining of sewers could not <br />be given at this time. However, as far as outside drains and ditch <br />work, this should be done in 1991. It was suggested that the removal of <br />the sub-station be mentioned to Mr. ~hlmarm, who could request the <br />Engineering Department look into the matter. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance No. 90-149 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its third <br />reading. An ordinance establishing the method by which fees for the use <br />of the facilities of the Recreation Department are to be fixed, and <br />repealing Ordinance No. 89-36 at~d declaring an emergency, as amended. <br />Mr. Tallon moved for adoption; second by Mrs. Saringer; passed <br />unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 90-163 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its third <br />reading. An .ordinance establishing the organization and composition of <br />the non-uniform, part-time personnel of the Police Department arxi <br />declaring an emergency. Mr. O'Grady moved for adoption; secor~ by Mrs. <br />Saringer; passed Lmanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 90-165 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its third <br />reading. An ordinance accepting for dedication the North Olmsted <br />Rosewood Estates Subdivision which includes a portion of Lessner Road in <br />the City of North Olmsted. Mrs. Saringer moved for adoption; second by <br />Mr. Nashar; passed tmanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 90-171 introduced by Mr. Nashar was given its second <br />reading. An ordinance creating new Section 521.13 of the City of North <br />Olmsted Codified Ordinances entitled, "Treelawn and Apron Maintenance", <br />and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 90-173 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its second <br />reading. An ordinance accepting for dedication a portion of Cambridge <br />Crossings Estates Subdivision which includes Bretton Ridge Drive and <br />Ursula Court in the City of North Olmsted. <br />Ordinance No. 90-174 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its second <br />reading. An ordinance establishing a new and revised Chapter 943 of the <br />Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled, "Cemeteries". <br />5 <br /> <br />
