~ ~ <br />MINUTES OF TES SPECIAL MEETING OF TEIE COUNCIL <br />.~. OF TIC CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />NOVEMBER 23, 1992 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />Present: President Pro Tem Saringer, Council President Boehmer (7:40 p.m.), <br />Council Members Bahas, Leonard, Lind, McKay, Musial, Nashar. <br />Also Present: Mayor Ed Boyle, Finance Director James Burns, Clerk of Council <br />Barbara Seman. <br />President Pro Tem Saringer called the special Council meeting to order at 7:34 <br />p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Or~ce No. 92-136 was read for reconsideration. An ordinance authorizing the <br />Mayor to enter into an agreement with Ohio Council 8 and Local ~~2681 of the <br />American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, covering Service <br />and Waste Water Treatment Plant employees, and declaring an e~rergency. Mr. McKay <br />moved for reconsideration; second by Mr. Lind; motion paned unanimously. Mr. <br />McKay moved for adoption; second by Mr. Lind. Roll call: McKay, yes; Lind, yes; <br />Musial, yes; Saringer, yes; Bahas, yes; Leonard, no; Nashar, yes. Motion passed <br />with 6 affirmative votes and 1 negative vote. Ordinance No. 92-136 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 92-143 was read for reconsideration. A resolution authorizing the <br />Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for 5,000 tons of asphalt and <br />tack coating of city streets, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and <br />declaring an emergency. Mr. McKay moved for reconsideration; second by Mr. Li.r~l.; <br />motion passed unanimously. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; <br />motion passed unanimously. Resolution No. 92-143 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 92-144 was read for reconsideration. A resolution authorizing the <br />Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for partial depth concrete joint <br />repair on various streets in the City of North Olmsted, as per specifications now <br />on file in his office, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same and <br />declaring an emergency. Mr. Lind moved for reconsideration; second by Mr. McKay; <br />motion passed unanimously. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; <br />motion passed unanimously. Resolution No. 92-144 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 92-145 was read for reconsideration. A resolution authorizing the <br />Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for cracksealing on various <br />streets in the City of North Olmsted, as per specifications now on file in his <br />office, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same ar~d declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. Lind moved for reconsideration; second. by Mr. McKay; motion <br />passed tulan.imously. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; motion <br />passed unanimously. Resolution No. 92-145 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 92-146 was read for reconsideration. A resolution authorizing the <br />Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for pulva mixing on various <br />streets in the City of North Olmsted, as per specifications now on file in his <br />office, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same and declaring an emergency. <br /> <br />
