An <br />ordinance providing for the issuaartce and sale of bonds in the r~xi~ aggregate <br />principal amount of $350,000 to pay casts of improving Great Northern Boulevard, <br />Country Club Boulevard, Victoria Let>e acid Kermedy Ridge Road between certain <br />termini. by removing tl~ existing pavetauent, grading, draining, curbing, preparing <br />the pavement base, paving and constructing and reconstructing storm sewers acid <br />sanitary suers, where necessary, together with the necessary appurtenances <br />thereto, and declaring an emergency. Mrs. Beringer moved for suspension of the <br />rules requiring three readings; second by Mr. Lirxl; motion passed unanimously. <br />Mrs. Beringer moved for adoption; second by Mr. Lind; motion passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 92-112 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 92-113 introduced by Mr. Leonard was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance. and sale of bonds in the maximatua aggregate <br />principal amount of $1,280,000 to pay costs of resmvating, remodeling, rehabili- <br />tating, furnishing, equipping and. otherwise improving the aa~ncipal recreation <br />center and improving aryd equipping its site, and declaring an emergency. Mr. <br />Leonard moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings; second by Mr. <br />Nashar; motion passed unanimaiisly. Mr. Leonard moved for adoption; second by Mr. <br />Nashax; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 92-113 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 92-114 introduced by Mrs. Beringer r~s given its second reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the m aggregate <br />principal amount of $205,000 to pay costs of acquiring an emergency rescue <br />vehicle and equipment, including turn out gear, air peeks and tanks, radio <br />equipment, hoses and rx>zzles, for use in carrying out functions of the Division <br />of Fire of the Department of Public Safety, and declaring an emergency. Mrs. <br />Beringer moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings; second by <br />Mr. Lind; motion passed unanimously. Mrs. Beringer moved for adoption; second by <br />Mr. Lind; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 92-114 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 92-115 introduced by Mr. Leonard was given its secoa<xl. reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the man aggregate <br />principal amount of $103,000 to pay costs of improving the city's street system <br />by acquiring and installing signals, signs arxi other equipment and devices to <br />direct and control the flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic, sand declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. Leonard moved for suspension of the rules requiring three <br />readings; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed un~usly. Mr. Leonard moved <br />for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. <br />92-115 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 92-116 introduced by Mrs. Beringer was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximu~a <br />aggregate pri.nci.pal amount of $1,438, 500 for the purpose of improving Silverdale <br />Road, Selhurst Road and Duane Road by grading, draining, curbing, reconstructing <br />the pavement base, widening, preparing the surface and paving with concrete, <br />reconstructing storm sewers, sanitary sewers, water mains and driveway aprons <br />where necessary, constructing sidewalks aril installing above-groin wires arid. <br />cables for street lighting, together with the necessary appurtenances. ara~i work <br />7 <br /> <br />
