MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTID <br />THURSDAY, JULY 16, 1992 <br />Present: Council President Boel~ner, Council Members Babas, Li.rxi, <br />McKay, Musial, Nashar. <br />Also Present: Mayor Ed Boyle, Finance Director James Burns, Clerk of <br />Council Barbara Seman. <br />Absent: Council Members Leonard and Saringer <br />Council President Boehmer called the special Council meeting to order at <br />8:01 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Mr. Lind, Chairperson of the Finance C~nittee, reported: 1) The committee <br />met on Tuesday, July 14, to discuss Resolutions 92-75 and 92-77. <br />a. Resolution 92-75 authorizes the Director of Personnel and Administrative <br />Services to seek proposals for appraisals and inventory of city buildings and <br />contents. After some discussion, the committee agreed that there was money <br />available in the appropriations to cover such an undertaking. The committee <br />recommended passage. <br />b. Resolution 92-77 adopts the budget for the City of North 0]msteci for the <br />fiscal year beginning January 1, 1993. The committee recommended passage. <br />Mr. McKay, Chairperson of the Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee, <br />reported: 1) Moved for the acceptance of a liquor license transfer from <br />Georgalis, Inc. DBA as Milton's Family Restaurant, 26324 Lorain Road to <br />Brinker Res taurant Corporation, northeast corner of Great Northern Blvd. and <br />County Club Blvd.; second by Mr. Lind; motion passed unan imously. <br />LEGISLATION <br />~rc~nance No. 92-66 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance to transfer and makre appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North OLnsted for the year ending December 31, 1992, <br />as amended. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance No. 92-66 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 92-72 introduced by Mr. Nashar was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance adopting a new Chapter 908 of the Codified Ordinances entitled, <br />"Mailboxes Within Public Streets , and declaring an emergency. Mr. Nashar moved <br />for .option; second. by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 92-72 <br />adopted. <br /> <br />
