r <br />MINUTES OF THE MEETII~ OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTID <br />MAY 19, 1992 <br />Present: Council President Boeh€~er, Council Members Babas, Leonard, Lind, <br />McKay, Musial, Nashar, Beringer. <br />Also Present: Mayor Ed Boyle, Law Director Michael Gareau, Finance Director <br />James Burns, Clerk of Council Barbara Semen. <br />Council President Boehmer called the meeting to order at 8:07 p.m. in Council <br />Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />The Pledge of allegiance was led by Eagle Scouts Mark Spiezio, Jeffrey <br />Blankenburg, and James Livingston. <br />The minutes of the meeting of May 5, 1992 were approved as written. <br />President Boehmer announced: 1) Resolution No. 92-61 would be added to the <br />agenda; 2) Ordinances 92-46, 92-52 and Resolutions 92-53, 92-55, 92-56 and 92-57 <br />would be passed under suspension of the rules; 3) Tl~e meeting will proceed with a <br />special Legislation section. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Resolution No. 92-55 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mrs. Beringer <br />on behalf of the Mayor and entire Council. A resolution com~aend:ing the achieve- <br />ments by Mark Edward Spiezio of the Eagle Scout Award in Boy Scouting. Mrs. <br />Beringer moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings aid committee <br />review; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Mrs. Beringer read the <br />resolution in its entirety. Mrs. Beringer ar~ved for adoption; second by Mr. <br />McKay; motion passed unanimously. Resolution No. 92-55 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 92-56 was introduced arxi placed on first reading by Mrs. Babas on <br />behalf of the Mayor and the entire Council. A resolution camending the achieve- <br />ments by Jeffrey Robert Blankenburg of the Eagle Scout Award in Boy Scouting. <br />Mrs. Babas moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings said. <br />committee review; second by Mr. Musial; motion passed unanimously. Mrs. Babas <br />read the resolution in its entirety. Mrs. Babas moved for adoption; second by <br />Mr. Musial; motion passed unanimously. Resolution No. 92-56 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 92-57 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay on <br />behalf of the Mayor and the entire Council. Mr. McKay moved <br />for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee review; secand <br />by Mrs. Babas; motion passed unanimously. Mr. McKay read the resolution in its <br />entirety. Mr. McKay moved for adoption; second by Mrs. Babas; motion passed <br />unanimously. Resolution No. 92-57 adopted. <br />Mr. Boehmer asked the Eagle Scouts to come forward to receive signed copies of <br />the resolutions. The young men were congratulated by members of Council and the <br />Administration. <br />
