Council Minutes of 313/92 <br />LEGISLATI~T (CONTINUED) <br />Or ce No. -1 introduced by Mr. Nashar was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance to amend Section 911.19 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North <br />Olmsted. <br />Resolution No. 92-17 was introduced ar~d placed oar first reading by Mayor Boyle on <br />behalf of the entire Council. A resolution supporting legislation to assure <br />mutually advantageous international. trade in motor vehicles anci motor vehicle parts <br />entitled The Auto and Auto Parts Competitive~ss Act of 1991. Mr. M~Kay moved for <br />suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee review; second by <br />Mr. Leonard; passed unanim~ausly. Mr. McKay moved for adoption; second by Mr. <br />Leonard; passed tmanimously. Resolution No. 92-17 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 92-18 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance authorizing and directing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter <br />into an agreement with Western Reserve Engineering & Surveying Company to provide <br />engineering services for the rehabilitation of Maria Lane and Rosita Lone, ami <br />declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 92-18 was assigned to the Streets and <br />Drainage Committee. <br />Resolution No. 92-19 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle and <br />Councilmen McKay and Nashar. A resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a <br />contract with Detroit Arnx~r Corporation for improvements to the target system for <br />the Police Station, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Nashar moved for suspension of <br />the rules requiring three readings and committee review; second by Mrs. Bahas; <br />passed unanimously. Mr. Nashar moved for adoption; second by Mrs. Bahas; passed <br />unanimously. Resolution No. 92-19 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 92-20 was introduced ar~d placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. <br />Authorizing declaration of official intent with respect to reimbursement from note <br />and bond proceeds of temporary advances made for capital e~itures, and related <br />matters, and declaring an urgency: Mr. Lind moved for suspension of the rules <br />requiring three readings and committee review; secoryd by Mr. Nashar; passed <br />unanimously. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second by Mr. Nashar; passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 92-20 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 92-21 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay. An <br />ordinance establishing the organization and composition of the non-tmiform, part- <br />time persorn2el of the Police Department and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. <br />92-21 was assigned to the Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 92-22 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance to establish enterprise zones within the City of North Ohmsted, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 92-23 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. An <br />ordinance establishing rates of eomYpexisation for various administrative and <br />legislative personnel and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 92-23 was assigned <br />to the Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 92-24 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. An <br />ordinance establishing the ccxnpensatian, benefits and working conditions for <br />salaried employees emiployed by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, who are not <br />7 <br /> <br />
