Council Minutes of 2/18/92 <br />Legislation <br />Ordinance No. 91-175 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance establishing a city reinvestment area under t2ye provisions <br />of Sections 3735.65 through 3735.70, inclusive, of the Ohio Revised Code, <br />designating a Housing Officer, establishing a Ctxm<mmity Reinvestment Housing <br />Council, and declaring an urgency, as amended. Mr. McKay waved for <br />adoption; second by Mr. Lind; passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 91-175 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 92-3 introduced by Mr. Lind on behalf of Mayor Boyle was given <br />its third reading. An ordinance to amend Section 911.07 and 911.13 of the <br />Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an urgency, <br />as amended. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second by Mrs. Saringer; passed <br />unanimously. Ord. No. 92-3 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 92-12 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issue and sale of $4,300,000 notes, in antici- <br />pation of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of improving certain <br />designated streets in the city's street system by grading, draining, curbing, <br />reconstructing the pavement base, widening, p~repering the surface anti paving, <br />by reconstructing and rehabilitating storm sewers, sanitary sewers arxi water <br />mains, by constructing and rect~nstructing curbs, sidewalks anti driveway <br />aprons, and by installing undergrtaund and above-ground wires ar3d cables for <br />street lighting, all where necessary, together with the necessary appurten- <br />ances and work incidental thereto, as amended. Mr. Lind moved far adoption; <br />second by Mr. Nashar; passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 92-12 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 92-7 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids <br />for 50,000 gallons of sodium alugninate for use by the North Olmsted Waste- <br />water Treatment Facilities Plant, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 92-14 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Nashar. <br />An ordinance to amend Section 911.19 of the Codified Ordinances of the City <br />of North Olmsted. <br />Miscellaneous Business <br />Mrs. Saringer assigned Ordinance No. 92-14 to the Streets and. Drainage <br />Committee. <br />Mr. Leonard moved to appoint Mr. McKay and Mr. Lind to the Housing Council <br />established with the passage of Ordinance 91-175. The motion was seconded by <br />Mr. Nashar and passed unanimously. <br />Mrs. Saringer scheduled a Building, Zoning and Development C~nnittee meeting <br />for Thursday, February 27, at 7:30 p.m. <br />Mr. Lind noted that the Finance Committee meeting had previously been <br />scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Monday, February 24. <br />Mr. Nashar scheduled the Streets and Drainage Committee meeting for 7 p.m. on <br />Monday, February 24.
