Council Minutes of 12-07-2010 <br />Councilman Mahoney made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously. <br />Councilman Mahoney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman <br />Williamson and passed unanimously. Resolution 2010-157 adopted. <br />Ordinance 2010-158 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy on <br />behalf of himself and Councilwoman Jones. An Ordinance amending the Traffic Control <br />File of the City of North Olmsted to provide for the placement of "Left Turn Yield on <br />Green" sign at the traffic light for Porter Road southbound at the intersection of Lorain <br />Road in the City of North Olmsted. <br />Resolution 2010-159 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution dispensing with a formal RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into <br />a contract with Richard L. Bowen & Associates, Inc. to provide engineering consulting <br />services to the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2010-160 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Finance to pay funds to Relmec Mechanical, LLC <br />for various repairs undertaken and services provided at the Recreation Center, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2010-161 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to make application for a Water Pollution Control Loan <br />Fund Agreement on behalf of the City of North Olmsted for planning, design, and/or <br />construction of waste water facilities; and further authorizing the Mayor to enter into the <br />agreement if the application is accepted; and further designating a dedicated repayment <br />source for the loan, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker made a motion to <br />suspend the rule requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman <br />Jones and passed unanimously. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilwoman Jones and passed unanimously. Resolution 2010-161 <br />adopted. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilwoman Jones scheduled a BZD Committee meeting for Tuesday, December 14, <br />2010 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss the Suburban Auto Conditional Use Permit and Giant Eagle <br />Get Go. The Director of Law and Director of Planning and Development are asked to <br />attend. <br />Councilman Mahoney scheduled a Public Safety Committee meeting for Tuesday, <br />December 14, 2010 at 7:45 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2010-158. The Director of Public <br />Safety and Service is asked to attend. <br />10 <br />
