Council Minutes of 10-OS-2010 <br />• She announced that Leslie Bruxvoort, Assistant Finance Director, is resigning to <br />relocate to Arizona. Her last day is October 22, 2010. An ad has been published <br />to fill the position. <br />• She and the Mayor have been working on the internal budget process. The <br />payroll budget worksheets have been sent to the divisions and are expected back <br />by the middle of October. <br />Council President Limpert, Chairman of the Committee of the Whole: <br />The Committee of the Whole met Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 7 p.m. to hear a <br />presentation from Joe Monroe from the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas <br />regarding Save Our Homes Month. He presented information regarding foreclosure <br />mediation. There is financial help for people, and recommends contacting the Court or <br />visiting the website. <br />Councilman Barker, Chairman of the Finance Committee: <br />The Finance Committee met on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. Present were <br />Committee members Barker, Jones and Kearney; Council members Mahoney, Orlowski <br />and Williamson; Council President Limpert; Mayor Kennedy; Director of Finance <br />Copfer. <br />• Resolution 2010-122 a Resolution accepting the amounts and rates as determined <br />by the Budget Commission and authorizing the necessary tax levies and certifying <br />them to the County Auditor. This Resolution shows the city's millage for 2011, <br />and will be 97.9% of last year's value/$224,374 less. The committee <br />recommended approval 3-0. The meeting adjourned at 7:12 p.m. <br />Councilman Mahoney, Chairman of the Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee: <br />The Safety Committee met on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 7:15 p.m. Present were <br />Committee members Mahoney, Kearney and Williamson; Council members Barker, <br />Orlowski and Jones; Council President Limpert; Director of Safety/Service Ritenauer. <br />• Discussed was liquor permit for Mi Pollo, Inc. dba Mi Pollo located at 27600 <br />Lorain Road. The North Olmsted Police Dept. conducted a background check <br />and found no issues with this applicant. The committee voted 3-0 to not object to <br />the permit. <br />• 2010-129 an Ordinance amending the Traffic Control File of the City of North <br />Olmsted to provide for the installation of two "Keep Right" signs on the center <br />median of Brookpark Road at the traffic signal regulating traffic exiting Wal Mart <br />and North Olmsted Town Center, and declaring an emergency. Safety/Service <br />Director Ritenauer explained the need for the signs. The committee voted 3-0 for <br />approval. <br />3 <br />
