<br />Council Minutes of 09-08-2010 <br />passed unanimously. Councilman Mahoney moved for adoption. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Resolution 2010-118 <br />adopted. <br />Resolution 2010-119 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br />purchase of bulk treated rock salt for ice and snow removal operations as detailed in <br />specifications on file and further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the <br />lowest and best bidder, after Board of Control approval, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2010-120 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing and directing the Director of Planning and Development to make <br />application on behalf of the City of North Olmsted for participation in the Ohio Public <br />Works Commission ("OPWC") State Capital and Local Transportation Improvement <br />Programs for the purpose of obtaining financial assistance to improve Walter Road and <br />further authorizing the Mayor to accept said assistance if awarded, and to execute a <br />contract with the OPWC, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Brossard made a <br />motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilwoman Jones and passed unanimously. Councilman Brossard moved for <br />adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Jones and passed unanimously. <br />Resolution 2010-120 adopted. <br />Resolution 2010-121 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Division of Youth and Family Services Administrator to apply <br />for the 2011 Juvenile Accountability Block Grant with the Cuyahoga County Department <br />of Justice Affairs; further authorizing the Mayor, if the application is granted, to enter <br />into an agreement with Cuyahoga County to accept said grant funds; and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman Barker made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three <br />readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman Orlowski and passed unanimously. <br />Councilman Barker moved for adoption. Resolution 2010-121 adopted. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilman Barker scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, <br />September 14, 2010 to discuss Ordinance 2010-113. The Mayor and a representative <br />from the Finance Dept. are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Brossard scheduled a Streets & Transportation Committee meeting for 7:15 <br />p.m. on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 to discuss Resolution 2010-119. The Director of <br />Safety/Service is asked to attend. <br />Councilwoman Jones scheduled a BZD Committee meeting for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday <br />September 14, 2010 to discuss Ordinance 2010-111.
