Council Minutes of 08-03-2010 division heads are working on it whether a different department head is making the decision. There are a lot of appropriation transfers and she didn't want to confuse the issue. Once this Ordinance is passed, she will then change the Ordinance. • She and the Mayor have begun working on the Popular Annual Financial Report. This is a more simplified financial annual report for businesses and residents of the City. Mayor Kennedy re-appointed Kimberly Wenger as Director of Planning and Development, Chase Ritenauer as Director of Safety and Service and Cheryl Farver as Director of Human Resources. Councilman Barker made a motion to approve the appointment of Chase Ritenauer to the position of Director of Safety and Service. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Jones and passed unanimously. Chase Ritenauer appointment to Director of Safety and Service approved. Councilman Barker made a motion to approve the appointment of Cheryl Farver to the position of Director of Human Resources. Council President Limpert, Chairman of the Committee of the Whole: The Committee of the Whole met on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 8:16 p.m. Present were Council members Barker, Brossard, Jones, Kearney, Orlowski, Williamson and President Limpert. Also present were Mayor Kennedy, Director of Law Gareau, Director of Finance Copfer and Michael Gareau Sr., Chairman of the Charter Review Commission. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the Final Report and Recommendation of the Charter Review Commission: • Ordinance 2010-83 an Ordinance providing for the submission of an amendment to the electors of the City of North Olmsted to Article III, Section 2 of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted to clarify restrictions on other employment and holding other public office by the Mayor, and declaring an emergency. Recommended for approval 6-0. • Ordinance 2010-84 an Ordinance providing for the submission of an amendment to the electors of the City of North Olmsted to Article IV, Section 3 of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted to permit the President of Council to recommend 5
