Council Minutes of 08-03-2010 <br /> <br />and introduce legislation and to participate in a discussion on all matters coming <br />before Council, and declaring an emergency. Recommended for approval s-1. <br />• Ordinance 2010-85 an Ordinance providing for the submission of an amendment <br />to the electors of the City of North Olmsted to Article IX, Section 3 of the Charter <br />of the City of North Olmsted to change the primary election to the second <br />Tuesday in September, and declaring an emergency, as amended. Recommended <br />for approval 4-3 (Council President voted to break 3-3 vote) <br />• Ordinance 2010-86 an Ordinance providing for the submission of an amendment <br />to the electors of the City of North Olmsted to Article IX, Section 4 of the Charter <br />of the City of North Olmsted to change the process for electing at large Council <br />representatives, and declaring an emergency. Recommended for approval 6-0. <br />• Ordinance 2010-87 an Ordinance providing for the submission of an amendment <br />to the electors of the City of North Olmsted to Article V, Section 3 of the Charter <br />of the City of North Olmsted to require that the Director of Finance be at all times <br />a Certified Public Accountant, and declaring an emergency. Recommended for <br />approval 6-0. <br />• Ordinance 2010-88 an Ordinance providing for the submission of an amendment <br />to the electors of the City of North Olmsted to Article V, Section 2 of the Charter <br />of the City of North Olmsted to require the Director of Law to perform all other <br />duties now or hereinafter imposed by Council or the Mayor consistent with the <br />duties of the office of Director of Law, and declaring an emergency, <br />Recommended for approval 6-0. <br />• Ordinance 2010-89 an Ordinance providing for the submission of an amendment <br />to the electors of the City of North Olmsted to Article XVI, Section 2 of the <br />Charter of the City of North Olmsted to allow for an administrative process to <br />remove gender references from the Charter, and declaring an emergency. <br />Recommended for approval 6-0. <br />• Ordinance 2010-90 an Ordinance providing for the submission of an amendment <br />to the electors of the City of North Olmsted to Article IX, Section 5 of the Charter <br />of the City of North Olmsted to eliminate the Director of Public Service from the <br />redistricting process, and declaring an emergency. Recommended for approval 6- <br />0. <br />• Ordinance 2010-91 an Ordinance providing for the submission of an amendment <br />to the electors of the City of North Olmsted to Article VII, Section 1 of the <br />Charter of the City of North Olmsted to revise and establish qualifications for <br />membership on the Board of Building Code Appeals, and declaring an <br />emergency. Recommended for approval 6-0. <br />• Ordinance 2010-92 an Ordinance providing for the submission of an amendment <br />to the electors of the City of North Olmsted to Article VI, Section 3 of the Charter <br />of the City of North Olmsted to identify and redefine members of the unclassified <br />service, and declaring an emergency.
