Council Minutes of 08-03-2010 Ordinance 2010-89 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An Ordinance providing for the submission of an amendment to the electors of the City of North Olmsted to Article XVI, Section 2 of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted to allow for an administrative process to remove gender references from the Charter, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2010-90 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An Ordinance providing for the submission of an amendment to the electors of the City of North Olmsted to Article IX, Section 5 of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted to eliminate the Director of Public Service from the redistricting process, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2010-91 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An Ordinance providing for the submission of an amendment to the electors of the City of North Olmsted to Article VII, Section 1 of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted to revise and establish qualifications for membership on the Board of Building Code Appeals, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2010-95 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to request proposals for plumbing, heating, ventilation and air conditioning preventative maintenance services for the city's Division of Recreation; further authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval of the Board of Control, to enter into an agreement with the individual selected in the RFP process; and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2010-96 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Senior Center Administrator to apply for federal Title III program grant funds for fiscal year 2011; further authorizing the Mayor, if the application is granted, to enter into an agreement or agreements with the Western Reserve Area Office on Aging to accept said grant funds; and declaring an emergency.
