~., <br />Council Minutes of 03-16-2010 <br />contract with Cuyahoga County, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Kearney <br />made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings as this was discussed in <br />committee. The motion was seconded by Councilman Mahoney and passed <br />unanimously. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Mahoney and passed unanimously. Resolution 2010-27 adopted. <br />Resolution 2010-28 introduced by Councilman Orlowski was given its second reading. <br />A Resolution proclaiming April as Fair Housing Month in North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Councilman Orlowski made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings as this <br />Resolution has been heard in committee and the legislation is time sensitive. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously. Councilman <br />Orlowski moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson. <br />Roll Call: Orlowski, yes with comment. I hope the Administration will post the <br />Resolution in all buildings to present awareness of the program and notify HUD of our <br />interest in promoting their programs. Roll Call continued: Williamson, yes; Mahoney, <br />yes; Barker, yes; Brossard, yes; Jones, yes; Kearney, yes. Resolution 2010-28 adopted. <br />Ordinance 2010-31 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and given its first reading An <br />Ordinance amending the range of compensation rates and salary ranges for administrative <br />and legislative personnel to allow for furlough days, eliminate certain paid holidays and <br />eliminate selling back vacation hours for cash; and otherwise re-state the compensation <br />rate ranges for various administrative and legislative personnel for the year 2010, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2010-32 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and given its first reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, to enter into <br />an agreement with the Board of Cuyahoga County Commissioners for the asset transfer <br />of equipment purchased with FY2007 Urban Area Security Initiative Grant, and declaring <br />an emergency. Councilman Mahoney made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three <br />readings as the Safety Director has indicated the equipment is for the preservation of <br />public safety, health and welfare and there may be a timely issue as well. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Councilman Mahoney <br />moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed <br />unanimously. Resolution 2010-32 adopted. <br />Resolution 2010-33 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and given its first reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a renewed agreement with Cuyahoga <br />County Juvenile Court in connection with the Community Diversion Program to address <br />juvenile misdemeanor and status offenders in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman Mahoney made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three <br />readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. <br />Councilman Mahoney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Kearney and passed unanimously. Resolution 2010-33 adopted. <br />Resolution 2010-34 was introduced by Mayor Kennedy and given its first reading.
