.• <br />MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />FEBRUARY 16, 2010 <br />Present: President of Council Limpert, Council Members Barker, Brossard, <br />Dailey Jones, Kearney, Mahoney, Orlowski, Williamson. <br />Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Law Director Gareau, Finance Director Copfer, Clerk of <br />Council Gallo. <br />President Limpert called the meeting to order at 8:05 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 <br />Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br />The minutes of the Council meeting of February 2, 2010 were approved as written. <br />President Limpert announced that the following legislation would be considered for <br />passage under suspension of the rules: Second Reading -Ordinance 2010-12, First <br />Reading -Resolutions 2010-21 and 2010-22. <br />REPORTS <br />Mayor Kennedy: <br />• On Wednesday, February 3, he met at St. Brendan's and spoke with the <br />parishioners regarding Catholic School Week. <br />• On Thursday, February 4, he met with Vern Hartenberg of the Cleveland <br />Metroparks to discuss changes and expansions in Bradley Park. <br />• On Monday, February 8, he met with Moen. They are one of the city's biggest <br />taxpayers, and it was good to have a conversation and discuss how the city can <br />partner better with them. <br />• On February 10, he met with the West Shore Council of Governments to discuss <br />health care and the Fire Study. He also met with the Planning Director to review <br />the old Recreation Master Plan. On the February 11, he attended the Valentine's <br />Day event at the Senior Center. <br />• He thanked Councilwoman Nicole Dailey Jones who attended the grand opening <br />of Powerhouse Gym on his behalf on February 13. <br />• The city received its fact finding report for the fire negotiations and the <br />Administration is pleased with the report. <br />• Building inspectors are now working with the City Engineers to conduct <br />inspections on right-of--ways.
