r r <br />Council Minutes of 02-16-10 <br />Ohio Department of Public Safety EMS grant for the purpose of receiving funds to <br />enhance EMS patient care; further authorizing the Mayor, if the application is granted, to <br />enter into an agreement with the appropriate agency to accept said grant funds, and <br />declaring an emergency. Councilman Mahoney made a motion to suspend the rule <br />requiring three readings and formal committee review for the reasons stated by our Safety <br />Director at caucus that this is a grant which typically does not exceed $4,000 and we used <br />these funds to equip our squads. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and <br />passed unanimously. Councilman Mahoney moved for adoption. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Kearney. Roll Call: Mahoney, yes; Kearney, yes; Barker, yes; <br />Orlowski, yes with comment. It's always good to receive grant monies. Roll Call <br />continued: Brossard, yes; Jones, yes; Williamson, yes. Resolution 2010-22 adopted. <br />Resolution 2010-23 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kenendy. A <br />Resolution supporting the application of the Olmsted Historical Society for an Ohio <br />Historic Marker at the Frostville Museum, and declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilman Kearney scheduled a Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings committee <br />meeting for 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 to discuss 2010-23. The Planning <br />Director is asked to attend. <br />Councilwoman Jones scheduled a BZD Committee meeting for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, <br />February 23, 2010 to discuss cell tower co-locations. The Planning Director is asked to <br />attend. <br />Councilwoman Jones announced a Public Hearing regarding Ordinance 2010-10 Solar <br />Energy Systems will be held Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. <br />Councilman Mahoney nominated Councilman Barker to be Supervisor of the Clerk of <br />Council. Roll Call: Mahoney, Barker; Kearney, Barker; Williamson, Barker; Barker, <br />Barker; Brossard, Barker; Jones, Barker; Orlowski, Barker.
