~., •~ Council Minutes of 01-19-10 Councilman Kearney made a motion to not object to the liquor permit transfer of Standard Oil Company to Lehigh Gas Company dba BP AM/PM at 23425 Lorain Road. The motion was seconded by Councilman Orlowski and passed unanimously. Liquor permit transfer approved. • The second transfer was Standard Oil Company at 25295 Lorain Road to the Lehigh Gas Company to do business as BP AM/PM at 25295 Lorain Road. AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION Terry Groden, 25211 Chase Drive wanted to address an error in the minutes from comments that he made at the Council meeting of December 15, 2009. The minutes state that he recommended Pat Kelly for the vacant Council position. If you listen to the recording, he said that he believes Council should take into consideration the fact that Mr. Kelly is the only candidate who bothered to run for a Council position in the November election. He prefaced his remarks that night by stating that he didn't know who the other candidates were at that time. Not knowing the qualifications of all the candidates who were going for that open Council seat, he would not have recommended one over the other. LEGISLATION Resolution 2009-149 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its third reading. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase a GAPVAX Sewer Jet Truck for the Wastewater Treatment Plant through the State Purchase Program and to trade in Truck No. 58 in conjunction with said purchasing, and further authorizing the Mayor to execute all documents necessary to effectuate such purchase, as amended. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Resolution 2009-149 adopted. Ordinance 2009-63 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. An Ordinance creating new Chapter 1153 (Wind Energy Conversion Systems) of the North Olmsted Zoning Code in order to permit and establish regulations for the use of Wind Energy Conversion Systems (WECS) in the City of North Olmsted, as amended. Ordinance 2009-64 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. An Ordinance providing for the amendment of the Zone Map of the City of North Olmsted in order to supplementally zone the hereinafter identified parcels of real property so as to include them within the Wind Energy Overlay District ("WEOD") of the City of North Olmsted. 8
