• , ., .. <br />Council Minutes of 12-20-2011 <br />Ordinance 2011-140 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2011, and <br />declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker made a motion to suspend the rules <br />requiring three readings and formal committee review. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Ordinance <br />2011-140 adopted. <br />Resolution 2011-141 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to advertise for bids for diesel fuel and gasoline <br />products for use by the City of North Olmsted, as per specifications on file, and <br />authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract to purchase such supplies. <br />Resolution 2011-142 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br />purchase of 5,000 tons of stone for various Service Department needs throughout the city <br />as detailed in the specifications on file, further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a <br />contract with the lowest and best bidder to purchase said stone, after Board of Control <br />approval, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Brossard made a motion to suspend <br />the rules requiring three reading and formal committee review. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Mahoney and passed unanimously. Councilman Brossard <br />moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Mahoney and passed <br />unanimously. Resolution 2011-142 adopted. <br />Resolution 2011-143 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into aone-year renewal of the Equitable <br />Sharing Agreement with the United States Departments of Justice and Treasury to <br />provide for transfer of cash or property seized and forfeited in connection with criminal <br />prosecution, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Williamson made a motion to <br />suspend the rule requiring three readings and formal committee review. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Councilwoman <br />Williamson moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann <br />and passed unanimously. Resolution 2011-143 adopted. <br />Resolution 2011-144 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br />purchase of 5,000 tons of asphalt materials for various Service Department needs <br />throughout the city as detailed in the specifications on file, further authorizing the Mayor <br />to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder to purchase said materials, after <br />Board of Control Approval, and declaring an emergency.
