~~ Council Minutes of I 1-15-2011 Ordinance 2011-115 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An Ordinance authorizing the Director of Finance to request proposals from certified public accountants to provide GAAP conversion assistance services for the preparation of the annual Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR); and further authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval of the Boazd of Control, to enter into an agreement with the professional selected in the RFP process, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Councilman Bazker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2011-115 adopted. Resolution 2011-116 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Planning and Development to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide construction services for the Country Club Boulevazd Streetscape Project, as detailed in the specifications on file in the Engineering Department, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder, and declaring and emergency. Resolution 2011-117 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into aone-year renewal contract with TAC Computer, Inc. in order to provide maintenance and repair services to computer hazdwaze and software in the North Olmsted Police Department, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Williamson made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings and formal committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Mahoney and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2011-118 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance amending Section 179.99 of Chapter 179 of the Administrative Code entitled "Department of Planning and Development" in order to create the position of Assistant Building Commissioner within the Division of Building, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2011-119 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution granting to Morris-Pontiac-GMC, Inc. DBA Morris Cadillac-Buick-GMC, Inc, a lease of space at the North Olmsted Recreation Center, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Mahoney made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Dennis Lambert, 25057 Carey Lane asked if Council was provided with at copy of the lease and Councilman Barker replied yes. Councilman Mahoney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Resolution 2011-119 adopted. 8
