Council Minutes of 11-01-2011 <br /> <br />time/seasonal help within the Division of Wastewater, and declaring an <br />emergency. Because of a possible retirement and one employee not being able to <br />participate in night call-out, the WWTP will need an additional person. A job <br />description is filed with this report. The committee voted 3-0 for approval of <br />Ordinance 2011-108. <br />Councilman Kearney, Chairman of the Recreation, Public Parks & Buildings Committee: <br />The Recreation, Public Parks & Buildings Committee met Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at <br />7:15 p.m. Present were committee members Kearney, Orlowski and Brossard; Council <br />President Limpert; Council members Barker, Mahoney, Schumann and Williamson; <br />Mayor Kennedy, Law Director Gareau, Planning/Development Director Wenger and <br />guests. <br />• Discussed was Resolution 2011-113 which is a Resolution authorizing the Mayor <br />to accept a five thousand dollar grant from Sunnyside Toyota for the purchase of <br />playground and other public use equipment at Barton Bradley Park, and declaring <br />an emergency. The committee voted 3-0 to recommend approval of Resolution <br />2011-113. <br />• Also discussed was a temporary easement and parking lease at the Recreation <br />Center. There will be more information to follow. <br />Councilwoman Williamson, Chairwoman of the Public Safety, Health & Welfare <br />Committee: <br />The Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee met Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at 7:10 <br />p.m. Present were committee members Williamson, Mahoney and Schumann; Council <br />members Barker, Kearney, Brossard and Orlowski; Mayor Kennedy, Law Director <br />Gareau, Planning/Development Director Wenger and guests. <br />• Discussed was the transfer of liquor permit no. 6655987 for PSG Enterprises, <br />LLC located at 24532 Lorain Road. After review from Lt. Cox at the Police Dept. <br />and seeing no issues with the applicant, a motion was recommended to not object <br />to the liquor permit transfer by a vote of 3-0. <br />Councilwoman Williamson made a motion to not object to the transfer of liquor permit <br />no. 6655987 for PSG Enterprises, LLC located at 24532 Lorain Road. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Mahoney and passed unanimously. Liquor permit transfer no. <br />6655987 for PSG Enterprises, LLC approved. <br />• Also discussed was the transfer of liquor permit no. 99505600010 for Zip Thru <br />Beverage, LLC DBA Zip Thru Beverage located at 30781 Lorain Road. After <br />review from Lt. Cox at the Police Dept. and seeing no issues with the applicant, a <br />motion was recommended to not object to the liquor permit transfer by a vote of <br />3-0. <br />4 <br />
