~~ <br />-, _~ <br />Council Minutes of I 1-01-2011 <br />Councilwoman Williamson made a motion to not object to the transfer of liquor permit <br />no. 99505600010 for Zip Thru Beverage located at 30781 Lorain Road. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Liquor permit transfer no. <br />99505600010 for Zip Thru Beverage approved. <br />AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION <br />Jeff Sturgeon, 3092 W. 231 requested that the city reconsider making a right turn only <br />lane on Clague Road over Lorain going southbound. He also requested the same <br />traveling north on Clague. He feels this would help move traffic along better. Sturgeon <br />said he has difficulty getting out of his mother's driveway because UPS and FedEx <br />vehicles exit I-480 to go down Clague Road. They are not supposed to be on that road <br />unless they have a stop to make. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance 2011-107 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2011, and <br />declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker made a motion to suspend the rule <br />requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and <br />passed unanimously. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded <br />by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2011-107 adopted. <br />Ordinance 2011-108 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance amending Section 141.99 of Chapter 141 of the Administrative Code entitled <br />"Department of Public Service" in order to create the position of Assistant <br />Superintendent Maintenance within the Division of Wastewater, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution 2011-110 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the award <br />of a contract to provide construction services for the Burns Road Culvert Replacement <br />Project, as detailed in the specifications on file with the Engineer, and authorizing the <br />Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the <br />lowest and best bidder, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2011-111 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with Cuyahoga County for <br />an Asset Transfer of Equipment from the FY2008 Urban Area Security Initiative Grant, <br />and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2011-112 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy.
