~~., ~~ <br />Council Minutes of 06-07-2011 <br />suspend the rule requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Mahoney and passed unanimously. <br />Dennis Lambert 25057 Carey Lane said a few meetings ago he got the impression that <br />the Mayor would consider collecting leaves in-house. Does this legislation mean that <br />issue is dead or is this an alternative back-up if the in-house pick-up does not work? <br />Mayor Kennedy said the issue is not dead. They want to compare what the current quote <br />would be doing it in-house. <br />Councilman Orlowski moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Mahoney and passed unanimously. Resolution 2011-70 adopted. <br />Ordinance 2011-71 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance amending and establishing rates of compensation for various administrative <br />and legislative personnel for the year 2011 by amending Section 14 to reduce the number <br />of furlough days from seven (7) to four and one-half (4.5); and otherwise restate the <br />compensation rate ranges and descriptions for various administrative and legislative <br />personnel for the year 2011, and declaring an emergency, as amended. Councilman <br />Barker made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Councilman Barker moved <br />for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance 2011-71 adopted. <br />Ordinance 2011-73 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2011, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2011-75 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution adopting the Alternative Tax Budget of the City of North Olmsted for the <br />fiscal year beginning January 1, 2012, and submitting the same to the County Auditor, <br />and declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS .BUSINESS <br />President Limpert scheduled a Committee of the Whole for Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at <br />6:45 p.m. to discuss North Olmsted Redistricting. <br />Councilman Barker scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Wednesday, June 8, <br />2011 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss 2011-73 and 2011-75. The Mayor and Finance Director are <br />asked to attend. <br />Councilman Mahoney scheduled a Building, Zoning & Development Committee meeting <br />for Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at 7:15 p.m. to discuss 2011-25 and Catholic Charities. The <br />Planning/Development Director is asked to attend. <br />11 <br /> <br />
