:x~r, <br />4 <br />Council Minutes of OS-17-2011 <br />demolition and removal of dangerous buildings located at 6652 Charles Road as a public <br />~""' nuisance; and further authorizing the costs to be certified as a tax lien upon said real <br />'`'~""` property pursuant to Section 1331.05 of the Codified Ordinances, and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman Mahoney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Resolution 2011-61 adopted. <br />Ordinance 2010-100 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance amending Section 1119.02 of the Zoning Code of the City of North Olmsted <br />to require, as a prerequisite to issuance of certificate of occupancy, payment of or <br />agreement to make payments on real property taxes, as twice amended. <br />Resolution 2011-64 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to <br />replace the natatorium dehumidification system and related equipment, as detailed in the <br />specifications on file with the engineer, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of <br />the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder, and <br />declaring an emergency. Councilman Kearney made a motion to suspend the rule <br />requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman Brossard and passed <br />unanimously. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Brossard and passed unanimously. Resolution 2011-64 adopted. <br />Resolution 2011-68 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a renewed one-year contract with LK <br />Heating & Cooling, Inc. with a city option for an additional one year term, to perform <br />maintenance services upon the heating and cooling equipment at various city buildings, <br />and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2011-70 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to request proposals from firms qualified to conduct a <br />comprehensive curbside leaf collection program; further authorizing the Mayor to enter <br />into an agreement with the firm selected in the RFP process, after approval by the Board <br />of Control, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2011-71 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance amending and establishing rates of compensation for various administrative <br />and legislative personnel for the year 2011 by amending Section 14 to reduce the number <br />of furlough days from seven (7) to four and one-half (4.5); and otherwise restate the <br />compensation rate ranges and descriptions for various administrative and legislative <br />personnel for the year 2011, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2011-72 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2011, and <br />declaring an emergency. Councilman Kearney made a motion to suspend the rules <br />requiring three readings and formal committee review. The motion was seconded by <br />,~, Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously.
