Councilman Mahoney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Resolution 2011-61 adopted. Ordinance 2010-100 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An Ordinance amending Section 1119.02 of the Zoning Code of the City of North Olmsted to require, as a prerequisite to issuance of certificate of occupancy, payment of or agreement to make payments on real property taxes, as twice amended. Resolution 2011-64 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to replace the natatorium dehumidification system and related equipment, as detailed in the specifications on file with the engineer, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder, and declaring an emergency. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a renewed one-year contract with LK Heating & Cooling, Inc. with a city option for an additional one year term, to perform maintenance services upon the heating and cooling equipment at various city buildings, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2011-70 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to request proposals from firms qualified to conduct a comprehensive curbside leaf collection program; further authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the firm selected in the RFP process, after approval by the Board of Control, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2011-71 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance amending and establishing rates of compensation for various administrative and legislative personnel for the year 2011 by amending Section 14 to reduce the number of furlough days from seven (7) to four and one-half (4.5); and otherwise restate the compensation rate ranges and descriptions for various administrative and legislative personnel for the year 2011, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2011-72 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2011, and declaring an emergency.
