'° <br />Council Minutes of 04-19-2011 <br />an emergency. Councilman Kearney made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three <br />readings. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed <br />unanimously. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2011-52 adopted. <br />Resolution 2011-53 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Planning and Development to advertise for bids <br />for the award of a contract to provide construction services for North Olmsted City Hall <br />Parking Lot Storm Water BMPs Project, as detailed in the specifications on file in the <br />Engineering Department, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of <br />Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder, and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman Kearney made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three <br />readings. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed <br />unanimously. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously. Resolution 2011-53 adopted. <br />Ordinance 2011-54 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance amending Building Code Section 1345.05 of the Codified Ordinances of the <br />City of North Olmsted to incorporate the 2006 International Residential Code standards <br />for residential pools, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2011-56 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance amending and re-establishing Chapter 945 of the Streets, Utilities and Public <br />Services Code entitled "Community Cabin/Senior Center" in order to reorganize <br />management thereof and to eliminate reference to Director of Community Life Services; <br />further to amend rules and regulations, including revision of fees and charges, for use of <br />said public facilities. <br />Resolution 2011-57 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor on behalf of the City to apply to the Ohio Attorney <br />General's Office for the 2011-2012 Drug Use Prevention Program Grant for the purpose <br />of partially funding the School Resource Officer; furtherauthorizing the Mayor, if the <br />application is granted, to enter into agreements toaccept said grant funds, and declaring <br />an emergency. Councilman Mahoney made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three <br />readings and formal committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman <br />Williamson and passed unanimously. Councilman Mahoney moved for adoption. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously. <br />Resolution 2011-57 adopted. <br />Ordinance 2011-58 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance amending Section 141.99 of Chapter 141 of the Administrative Code entitled <br />"Department of Public Service" in order to accurately reflect the position of Mechanic <br />Helper within the Division of Fleet, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker <br />made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee <br />review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. <br />14 <br />
