Council Minutes of 04-19-2011 Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2011-58 adopted. Ordinance 2011-59 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to purchase one rescue squad fire apparatus for the North Olmsted Fire Department through the State Purchase Program; further authorizing the Mayor to execute necessary contract documents; and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2011-60 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution approving of and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a collective bargaining agreement with the International Association of Fire Fighters ("IAFF") Local 1267 for the City's fire fighters, for the period January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2011, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Mahoney made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously. Resolution 2011-61 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Planning and Development to solicit bids for the demolition and removal of dangerous buildings located at 6652 Charles Road as a public nuisance; and further authorizing the costs to be certified as a tax lien upon said real property pursuant to Section 1331.05 of the Codified Ordinances, and declaring an emergency. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS Council President Limpert announced that there will be a Public Hearing on Tuesday, Mayo 24, 2011 at 7:OOp.m. to discuss 2011-25. Councilwoman Williamson scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee meeting for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 to discuss 2011-59 and a liquor permit. The Mayor is asked to attend. Councilman Mahoney scheduled a BZD Committee meeting for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 to discuss 2010-100 and 2011-54. The Planning/Development Director is asked to attend. Councilman Mahoney scheduled a BZD Committee meeting for 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 to discuss 2011-61. The Planning/Development Director is asked to attend. Councilman Orlowski scheduled an Environmental Control Committee meeting for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 to discuss 2011-55 and City Wide Flooding Issues. The Mayor, City Engineer, Building Commissioner, Asst Superintendent of Collections and City Forester are asked to attend. 15
