1 • ~" <br />1i~ <br />Council Minutes of 04-12-2011 <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance 2011-34 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $605,000 of Notes, in anticipation of the <br />issuance of Bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of improving Allendale Drive and <br />certain other designated streets in the City between certain termini by reconstructing and <br />rehabilitating the pavement base, constructing and reconstructing curbs and curb ramps <br />and adjusting catch basins, manholes and water valve and monument boxes, where <br />necessary, preparing the surface and resurfacing, in each case together with the necessary <br />appurtenances and work incidental thereto. <br />Ordinance 2011-35 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $73,000 of Notes, in anticipation of the <br />issuance of Bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of acquiring an emergency rescue squad <br />vehicle and related equipment for the City's Fire Department. <br />Ordinance 2011-36 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $182,000 of Notes, in anticipation of the <br />issuance of Bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of acquiring an aerator, mowers, a <br />sprayer and other equipment for use at the City's Springvale Golf Course and Ballroom <br />facility. <br />Ordinance 2011-37 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $303,000 of Notes, in anticipation of the <br />issuance of Bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of improving the golf course at the <br />City's Springvale Golf Course and Ballroom facility by renovating, reshaping and <br />otherwise improving bunkers, providing drainage improvements for bunkers and greens <br />and otherwise improving the course, in each case together with the necessary <br />appurtenances and work incidental thereto. <br />Ordinance 2011-38 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $202,000 of Notes, in anticipation of the <br />issuance of Bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of improving the City's Recreation <br />Center by acquiring and installing new heating, ventilation and air conditioning <br />equipment and providing related piping, ductwork and wiring improvements, together <br />with all necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto. <br />Councilman Kearney made a motion to excuse the absence of Councilman Brossard.
