~, ~,~' MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED APRIL 5, 2011 Present: President of Council Limpert, Council Members Barker, Brossard Kearney, Mahoney, Schumann, Orlowski, Williamson Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Law Gareau, Director of Finance Copfer, Clerk of Council Gallo, Director of Human Resources Farver, Director of Planning and Development Wenger Absent: Director of Public Safety and Service Ritenauer President Limpert called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. Councilman Barker made a motion to adjourn to executive session to discuss potential litigation. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Adjourn to executive session at 8:02 p.m. The Council meeting reconvened at 8:13 p.m. The Clerk stated that for the minutes of March 15, 2011, the last line above "Miscellaneous Business" should read "Resolution 2011-31 passes 5 for the Resolution, 1 against the Resolution and 1 abstain". The minutes of the Council meeting of March 15, 2011 were approved as corrected. The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules: First Reading -Resolutions 2011-44, 2011-45, 2011-46 and 2011-51. Council President Limpert announced that there will be a special Council meeting on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. REPORTS Mayor Kennedy: • On March 22, 2011 he met with School Superintendent, Cheryl Dubsky, to talk about the shared facilities agreement. • Westfield Great Northern is working with city staff in finalizing the permit process to begin demolition for the new food court project. .~-. ~.,r.,..r
