-: .~ ,~, MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED FEBRUARY 15, 2011 Present: President of Council Limpert, Council Members Barker, Brossard, Mahoney, Orlowski, Williamson Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Law Gareau, Director of Finance Copfer, Clerk of Council Gallo, Director of Human Resources Farver, Director of Planning and Development Wenger, Director of Public Safety and Public Service Ritenauer Absent: Council Member Kearney President Limpert called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. Mayor Kennedy presented Val and Mary Jane Borysiewicz with a Proclamation recognizing them for fifty years of marriage. Councilman Barker made a motion to adjourn into executive session to discuss potential litigation and labor negotiations. The motion was seconded by Councilman Mahoney and passed unanimously. Adjourn into executive session at 8:05 p.m. Meeting reconvened at 8:30 p.m. The minutes of the Council meeting of February 1, 2011 were approved as written. The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules: Second Reading -Resolutions 2011-8 and 2011-22. REPORTS Mayor Kennedy: • The second annual Mayor's Meet and Greet was held February 10, 2011 at Springvale. About 75 people were in attendance. • The City is meeting with representatives from the Ohio Dept. of Transportation, NOACA, the City Engineer, the County Engineer and a consultant to discuss integration of road safety audit recommendation into the plan of the Columbia Road resurfacing project. ODOT and NOACA will be working with the City to
