Council Minutes of 10-23-2012 Brossard made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings. The motion was ~°°~ seconded by Councilman Orlowski and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2012-105 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into contracts for the deposit of public monies with the institutions designated by Council as depositories for the active and interim account of the city, and declaring an emergency, as amended. Resolution 2012-106 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the purchase of 5,000 tons of stone for various Service Department needs throughout the city as detailed in the specifications on file, further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder to purchase said stone, after Board of Control approval, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2012-107 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the purchase of 5,000 tons of asphalt materials for various Service Department needs throughout the city as detailed in the specifications on file, further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder to purchase said materials, after Board of Control approval, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2012-108 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the North Olmsted City School District to establish mutual rights and responsibilities for the use of public facilities and assets, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2012-109 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to solicit bids for the rental of golf carts and other vehicles for Springvale, and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract for said vehicle rentals, subject to approval by the Board of Control, and declaring an emergency.
