Council Minutes of 10-16-2012 <br />direct and control the flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic in the city, together with <br />necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto. Councilman Barker indicated that <br />he is in receipt of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. <br />Ordinance 2012-101 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of Bonds in a maximum aggregate <br />principal amount of $235,000 to provide funds to pay costs of acquiring an emergency <br />rescue squad vehicle and related equipment for the city's fire department. Councilman <br />Barker indicated that he is in receipt of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. <br />Ordinance 2012-102 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of Bonds in a maximum aggregate <br />principal amount of $220,000 to provide funds to pay costs of acquiring, installing and <br />equipping a communications tower and equipping and otherwise improving its site for <br />use in performing city functions and services, together with all necessary appurtenances <br />and work incidental thereto. Councilman Barker indicated that he is in receipt of the <br />Fiscal Officer's Certificate. <br />Ordinance 2012-103 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of Bonds in a maximum aggregate <br />principal amount of $115,000 to provide funds to pay costs of acquiring and installing <br />computer hardware and software, together with necessary appurtenances and work <br />incidental thereto. Councilman Barker indicated that he is in receipt of the Fiscal <br />~„ Officer's Certificate. <br />Resolution 2012-104 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy on <br />behalf of himself and Council members Barker, Brossard and Orlowski. A Resolution <br />authorizing the Director of Planning and Development to advertise for bids for the award <br />of a contract to provide construction services for the Brookpark Bridge Underpass <br />Lighting Project, as detailed in the specifications on file in the Division of Engineering, <br />and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for <br />the same with the lowest and best bidder, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2012-105 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into contracts for the deposit of public monies <br />with the institutions designated by Council as depositories for the active and interim <br />account of the city, and declaring an emergency, as amended. <br />Resolution 2012-106 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br />purchase of 5,000 tons of stone for various Service Department needs throughout the city <br />as detailed in the specifications on file, further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a <br />contract with the lowest and best bidder to purchase said stone, after Board of Control <br />approval, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2012-107 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br />purchase of 5,000 tons of asphalt materials for various Service Department needs <br />throughout the city as detailed in the specifications on file, further authorizing the Mayor <br />7 <br />.~. ~.,...W _ _~., <br />
