Council Minutes of 10-02-2012 have been authorized and are filed with the court. Two additional complaints "*' have been referred to the Law Dept. for prosecution. Two complaints are '~ currently in the Law Dept. with unresolved issues which will turn into prosecution if those are not abated. Director of Finance Copfer: • She made a site visit to Shaker Heights' Public Works Dept. to observe Munis and their work orders module. They were very helpful and informative. North Olmsted will be converting to the newest version of Munis at the end of October. There will be a month of testing, and it will be implemented by December 7. The work orders are scheduled to start at the beginning of 2013. • North Olmsted received the Auditor of State's award with distinction as a result of the 2011 financial audit. • July and August month end detail revenue and expenditures and summaries were sent to Council via E-mail. Councilman Mahoney, Chairman of the Building, Zoning & Development Committee: The BZD Committee met Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. Present were committee members Mahoney and Kearney; Council President Limpert; Council members Brossard, Orlowski, Schumann and Williamson; Planning/Development Director Wenger. • Discussed was Ordinance 2012-80 which is an Ordinance amending and re- establishing Sections 1301, 1303, 1305, 1307 and 1309 of Chapter Thirteen of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled "Ohio Building Code" in order to update Building Code standards, and declaring an emergency. It was indicated that this is a review undertaken by the Law Director to update the city's Building Code. The committee voted 2-0 to recommend approval of Ordinance 2012-80. Councilman Brossard, Chairman of the Streets & Transportation Committee: The Streets & Transportation Committee met Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at 7:10 p.m. Present were committee members Brossard, Orlowski and Williamson; Council President Limpert; Council members Kearney, Mahoney and Schumann; Safety/Service Director Thomas, Planning/Development Director Wenger and guests. • Discussed for the second time was Ordinance 2012-76 which is an Ordinance amending and re-establishing Chapter 927 of the Streets, Utilities and Public Services Code entitled "Storm Water Management and Urban Pollution Abatement Systems" in order to implement new standards for storm water collection and management within the City of North Olmsted, as amended. This second meeting was scheduled to allow a concerned resident to propose suggested changes to this Chapter. After consideration, two of the three suggestions would not be necessary. A variation of the third suggestion was taken and added to the Ordinance. Councilman Brossard made a motion to recommend approval. The motion was seconded by Councilman Orlowski, and the committee voted 3-0 to recommend approval of Ordinance 2012-76. The meeting adjourned at 7:18 p.m. 2
