Council Minutes of 09-18-12 <br />Resolution 2012-79 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />;,~ <br />Resolution approving of and authorizing the Mayor to enter into collective bargaining <br />agreements with the Fraternal Order of Police ("FOP") /Ohio Labor Council, for the <br />police officers, for the period January 1, 201.2, through December 31, 2014, and declaring <br />an emergency. Councilwoman Williamson made a motion to suspend the rules requiring <br />three readings and formal committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Mahoney and passed unanimously. Councilwoman Williamson moved for adoption. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Mahoney and passed unanimously. Resolution <br />2012-79 adopted. <br />Ordinance 2012-80 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance amending and re-establishing Sections 1301, 1303, 1305, 1307 and 1309 of <br />Chapter Thirteen of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled "Ohio <br />Building Code" in order to update Building Code standards, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2012-81 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, to enter into a <br />municipal agency agreement with the Cuyahoga County Land Reutilization Corporation, <br />and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2012-82 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Mahoney. <br />An Ordinance amending Section 505.15 of Chapter 505 of the General Offenses Code <br />entitled "Animals and Fowl", in order to prohibit the feeding of wild animals in the city, <br />and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2012-83 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution approving the countywide All Natural Hazards Mitigation Plan for Cuyahoga <br />County, as adopted by the Cuyahoga County Office of Emergency Management in 2011, <br />as the mitigation plan for the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Mahoney made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and <br />formal committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and <br />passed unanimously. Councilman Mahoney moved for adoption. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously. Resolution 2012-83 <br />adopted. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilman Mahoney scheduled a BZD Committee meeting for Tuesday, September 25, <br />2012 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2012-80. The Planning/Development Director is <br />asked to attend. <br />Councilwoman Williamson scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee <br />meeting for Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at 7:10 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2012-81 and <br />Ordinance 2012-82.
