Council Minutes of 09-18-12 Resolution 2012-79 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A ;,~ Resolution approving of and authorizing the Mayor to enter into collective bargaining agreements with the Fraternal Order of Police ("FOP") /Ohio Labor Council, for the police officers, for the period January 1, 201.2, through December 31, 2014, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Williamson made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Mahoney and passed unanimously. Councilwoman Williamson moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Mahoney and passed unanimously. Resolution 2012-79 adopted. Ordinance 2012-80 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance amending and re-establishing Sections 1301, 1303, 1305, 1307 and 1309 of Chapter Thirteen of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled "Ohio Building Code" in order to update Building Code standards, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2012-81 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, to enter into a municipal agency agreement with the Cuyahoga County Land Reutilization Corporation, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2012-82 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Mahoney. An Ordinance amending Section 505.15 of Chapter 505 of the General Offenses Code entitled "Animals and Fowl", in order to prohibit the feeding of wild animals in the city, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2012-83 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution approving the countywide All Natural Hazards Mitigation Plan for Cuyahoga County, as adopted by the Cuyahoga County Office of Emergency Management in 2011, as the mitigation plan for the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Mahoney made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS Councilman Mahoney scheduled a BZD Committee meeting for Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2012-80. The Planning/Development Director is asked to attend. Councilwoman Williamson scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee meeting for Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at 7:10 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2012-81 and Ordinance 2012-82. The Mayor or his designee is asked to attend. 8
