Council Minutes of 09-04-12 <br />Councilman Kearney made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings. The <br />~~ motion was seconded by Councilman Brossard and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2012-57 adopted. <br />Resolution 2012-71 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, to enter into <br />an agreement with St. Brendan Parish granting the latter permission to place banners on <br />poles located in the city right-of--way, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2012-71 adopted 6-1. <br />Ordinance 2012-72 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance declaring improvements to certain parcels of real property to be a public <br />purpose, describing the public improvements to be made to directly benefit such parcels, <br />requiring the owners of the improvements on such parcels to make service payments in <br />lieu of taxes, and establishing a municipal public improvement tax increment equivalent <br />fund for the deposit of such service payments, all pursuant to Ohio Revised Code <br />Sections 5709.40, 5709.42 and 5709.43, and declaring an emergency. <br />;, Ordinance 2012-73 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2012, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 20.12-74 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution approving the Solid Waste Management Plan as adopted by the Cuyahoga <br />County Solid Waste Management Board, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2012-75 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance authorizing the Director of Human Resources to solicit proposals for the <br />personal services of a Third-Party Administrator (TPA) to process health insurance <br />claims and to purchase excess insurance coverage for the city health care and <br />hospitalization plans for 2013, and further authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval of <br />the Board of Control, to enter into a contract for said services and said insurance <br />coverage, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2012-76 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance amending and re-establishing Chapter 927 of the Streets, Utilities and Public <br />Services Code entitled "Storm Water Management and Urban Pollution Abatement <br />Systems" in order to implement new standards for storm water collection and <br />management within the City of North Olmsted. <br />9 <br />
