The committee voted 3-0 to recommend approval of <br />Ordinance 2012-66 with suspension. <br />• Discussed next was Ordinance 2012-68 which is an Ordinance to make and <br />transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of <br />North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2012, and declaring an <br />emergency, as amended. Worksheet attached. The committee voted 3-0 to <br />recommend approval of Ordinance 2012-68 with suspension. <br />Councilman Barker made a motion to amend Ordinance 2012-68. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2012-68 <br />amended. <br />Councilman Kearney, Chairman of the Recreation, Public Parks & Buildings Committee: <br />The Recreation Committee met Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at 7:45 p.m. Present were <br />committee members Kearney, Brossard and Orlowski; Council members Barker, <br />Mahoney and Schumann; Law Director Gareau, Safety/Service Director Thomas, <br />Planning/Development Director Wenger and guests. <br />• Discussed was Resolution 2012-67 which is an Ordinance amending and re- <br />establishing Chapter 155 of the Administrative Code entitled "Parks and <br />Recreation Commission" in order to amend the duties and meeting requirements <br />of the Parks and Recreation Commission. The committee voted 3-0 to <br />recommend approval of Resolution 2012-67. <br />Councilman Mahoney, Chairman of the Building, Zoning & Development Committee: <br />The BZD Committee met Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. Present were <br />committee members Mahoney, Kearney and Barker; Council members Brossard, <br />Orlowski and Schumann; and Planning/Development Director Wenger. <br />• Discussed first was Resolution 2012-61 which is a Resolution authorizing the <br />Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Pine Ridge Homeowners Association <br />and Joseph Coleman granting a license to construct a permanent Pine Ridge <br />Development sign in the public right of way at 4387 Dover Center Road in the <br />City of North Olmsted. The residents of this subdivision wish to erect a more <br />distinctive sign indicating the entrance to their subdivision. At this time, all they <br />have is a green street sign with several other green street signs indicating the <br />streets in the subdivision. They used to have a sign, but the sign was damaged <br />and never replaced. The committee voted 3-0 to recommend approval of <br />Resolution 2012-61 with suspension. <br />• Discussed next was Ordinance 2012-64 which is an Ordinance amending Section <br />1367.11 of Chapter 1367 (Satellite Dish Receiving Stations) of the Building <br />Code, entitled "No Permit or Fee Required for Certain Types of Satellite Dish <br />Antennae," in order to establish safety restrictions and to regulate the location of <br />3 <br />
