Mayor Kennedy said that's not a DUI, but this will be up to <br />the Magistrate and Prosecutor. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance 2012-47 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance amending and re-establishing Chapter 131 of the Administrative Code entitled <br />"Mayor" in order to provide for the establishment of a Division of Mayor's Court, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2012-48 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance amending the rates of compensation for various administrative and legislative <br />personnel for the year 2012 in order to establish rates of compensation for employees of <br />the newly-created Mayor's Court Division within the Mayor's office; and otherwise <br />restate the compensation rates and descriptions for various administrative and legislative <br />personnel for the year 2012, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2012-61 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Pine Ridge <br />Homeowners Association and Joseph Coleman granting a license to construct a <br />permanent Pine Ridge Development sign in the public right of way at 4387 Dover Center <br />Road in the City of North Olmsted. Councilman Mahoney made a motion to suspend the <br />rule requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and <br />passed unanimously. Councilman Mahoney moved for adoption. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Planning and Development to advertise for bids <br />for the award of a contract to provide construction services for the North Olmsted Park <br />Stormwater Demonstration Project, as detailed in the specifications on file in the <br />Engineering Department, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of <br />Control to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder, and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman Schumann made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three <br />readings. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Planning and Development to solicit Statements of <br />Qualifications from ODOT pre-qualified firms to serve as design engineer for the North <br />Olmsted Signal System Project; further authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement <br />with the firm selected in the RFQ process, after approval by the Board of Control, and <br />declaring an emergency.
