The Federal Communications Act strictly
prohibits any interference with the reception or transmission of radio signals. He does
not believe municipal law supersedes federal law. He heard the report where it was
stated that the Ordinance is in compliance with those things. He hopes it is because it's
going to send some people who are told they cannot have a satellite dish in a certain area
and they can't receive a signal into a situation where they have to go to court and plea not
guilty on the grounds that it's not the jurisdiction of the city to regulate that.
Councilman Mahoney moved for adoption.
