Barker <br />_ stated there is not credibility in rumors about political favors and political hires with this <br />Mayor's Court. The City Prosecutor will be involved as well and he does not work for <br />the Mayor. <br />Jeff Sturgeon, 3092 W. 231 S` referenced Ordinance 2012-49 to ask if it's going to be a <br />sign or a crosswalk button with lights like on Clague Road? Councilwoman Williamson <br />said there will be signage over the street, flashing lights and a button. Regarding dogs in <br />the park, he suggested the city installing additional signage stating the ordinances <br />requiring leashed dogs and requiring people to clean up after their dogs, including the <br />installation of stations for where people can get bags to clean up dog feces. Mayor <br />Kennedy said he will take that into consideration. Sturgeon encouraged the Mayor and <br />Council to keep up the good work with the Mayor's Court. He has full confidence in the <br />staff and Council, and he is sure it will work out just fine. <br />Tim Smith, 6053 Sherwood Drive wanted to remind everyone that in a week and a half, <br />the North Olmsted Soccer Organization (NOSO) will hold their NOSO Cup Tournament. <br />He also complimented the improvements made to the North Olmsted cable channel and <br />improvements being made around the city. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance 2012-49 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />"~ Ordinance amending the Traffic Control File to provide for the placement of a "Yield <br />Here to Pedestrians" sign located near the intersection of Country Club Boulevard and <br />Victoria Lane in the City of North Olmsted and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman <br />Williamson made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Councilwoman <br />Williamson moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann <br />and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2012-49 adopted. <br />Resolution 2012-51 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br />purchase of bulk treated rock salt for ice and snow removal operations as detailed in <br />specifications on file and further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the <br />lowest and best bidder, after Board of Control approval. <br />Ordinance 2012-53 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance dispensing with a formal RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into <br />an agreement with Tyler Technologies, Inc., parent company of Munis, Inc., to provide <br />computer systems, software and related services to the City of North Olmsted in order to <br />update the financial and management information system, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Barker made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Councilman <br />Barker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and <br />passed unanimously.
