Council Minutes of 06-19-12 <br />Resolution 2012-54 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />~~ Resolution reauthorizing a Citizens' Committee for the purpose of gathering and <br />presenting to City Council projects for consideration for the City's Community <br />Development Block Grant (CDBG) applications for fiscal years 2013 through 2015, and <br />declaring an emergency. Councilman Mahoney made a motion to suspend the rules <br />requiring three readings and formal committee review. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Councilman Mahoney moved for <br />adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. <br />Resolution 2012-54 adopted. <br />Resolution 2012-55 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Senior Center Administrator to apply for federal Title III <br />Program Grant funds for years 2013 through 2014; further authorizing the Mayor, if the <br />application is granted, to enter into an agreement or agreements with the Western Reserve <br />Area Agency on Aging to accept said grant funds; and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Barker made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and <br />formal committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed <br />unanimously. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Resolution 2012-55 adopted. <br />Resolution 2012-56 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to implement a design build selection process for the <br />award of a contract to design and install improvements to the Recreation Center fire <br />err alarm system, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to <br />contract for the same with the successful applicant, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Kearney made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Brossard and passed unanimously. Councilman <br />Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Brossard and <br />passed unanimously. Resolution 2012-56 adopted. <br />Ordinance 2012-57 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 2006-94 to amend the price ranges and to otherwise <br />restate the program fees for use of Park and Recreation facilities. <br />Resolution 2012-58 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase for Division of Information Technology <br />use, various computers, licenses and servers, all through the State Purchase Program; and <br />further authorizing the Mayor to execute all documents necessary to effectuate such <br />purchase, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2012-59 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution adopting the Alternative Tax Budget of the City of North Olmsted for the <br />fiscal year beginning January 1, 2013, and submitting the same to the County Auditor, <br />and declaring an emergency. <br />7 <br /> <br />
