The trial is scheduled for this fall. <br />• He has been working with the Mayor regarding the Mayors Court in North <br />Olmsted. <br />• There were three property maintenance convictions in the month of May. <br />Fourteen cases are set for action before the end of July. Eleven cases have been <br />referred and are pending prosecution, although the City tries to get compliance <br />without prosecution occurring. <br />• He had reported previously that a resident who is a registered sexual predator is <br />residing within North. Olmsted on Country Club Blvd. The Safety Director <br />determined that the individual was outside the prohibited district in relation to the <br />school and was not in violation ofthe City's code. Gareau did notify the Parent's <br />Club President, Marty Hayes, and St. Richard's ofthe near proximity ofthe <br />sexual predator because ofthe very young age ofthe victim in that case. <br />Director of Finance Copfer: <br />• The March detailed revenue and expenditure reports and the financial <br />summaries/executive summaries were sent via E-mail last week. <br />• The Olmsted Township billing is still not correct through the Cleveland Division <br />of Water. She has been in touch several times with the Division of Water to point <br />out their billing errors and try to help get this issue resolved. <br />Councilman Schumann, Vice Chairman ofthe Finance Committee: <br />The Finance Committee met Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 7:05 p.m. Present were <br />committee members Barker, Schumann and Kearney; Council President Limpert; Council <br />members Brossard, Mahoney, Orlowski and Williamson; Mayor Kennedy, Finance <br />Director Copfer, Safety/Service Director Thomas and Planning Director Wenger. <br />• Discussed first was Ordinance 2012-44 which is an Ordinance to make and <br />transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of <br />North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2012, and declaring an <br />emergency. The committee voted 3-0 to recommend approval of Ordinance <br />2012-44 with suspension. <br />• Discussed next was Resolution 2012-45 which is a Resolution authorizing the <br />Director of Planning and Development to advertise for bids for the award of a <br />contract to provide new gateway signage at various locations in the city, as <br />detailed in the specifications on file in the Planning Department, and authorizing <br />the Mayor, following approval ofthe Board of Control to contract for the same <br />with the lowest and best bidder, and declaring an emergency. The committee <br />voted 3-0 to recommend approval of Resolution 2012-45 with suspension. <br />.
