Council Minutes of 06-OS-12 <br />Ordinance 2012-49 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance amending the Traffic Control File to provide for the placement of a "Yield <br />Here to Pedestrians" sign located near the intersection of Country Club Boulevard and <br />Victoria Lane in the City of North Olmsted and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2012-50 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Western Reserve <br />Area Agency on Aging to provide for the 2012 Senior Farmer's Market Nutrition <br />Program for the North Olmsted Senior Center and declaring an emergency. Councilman <br />Mahoney made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal <br />committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed <br />unanimously. Councilman Mahoney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Resolution 2012-50 adopted. <br />Resolution 2012-51 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br />purchase of bulk treated rock salt for ice and snow removal operations as detailed in <br />specifications on file and further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the <br />lowest and best bidder, after Board of Control approval. <br />Resolution 2012-52 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Roetzel Construction, Inc. <br />as an emergency exception to public bidding to provide construction services to the city <br />for window replacement, all as detailed in the North Olmsted Facilities Energy <br />Conservation Project specifications, and declaring an emergency. Councilman <br />Schumann made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal <br />committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Mahoney and passed <br />unanimously. Councilman Schumann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Mahoney and passed unanimously. Resolution 2012-52 adopted. <br />Ordinance 2012-53 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance dispensing with a formal RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into <br />an agreement with Tyler Technologies, Inc., parent company of Munis, Inc., to provide <br />computer systems, software and related services to the City of North Olmsted in order to <br />update the financial and management information system, and declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Council President Limpert scheduled a Committee of the Whole for Tuesday, June 12, <br />2012 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss Ordinances 2012-47 & 2012-48 and general discussion <br />regarding Mayors Court. <br />Councilwoman Williamson scheduled a Public Safety Committee meeting for Tuesday, <br />June 12, 2012 at 6:45 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2012-49.
