Council Minutes of 06-OS-12
,,;,g Dennis Lambert, 25057 Carey Lane said he did not have an opportunity to see what the
new signage looks like. He asked if the old logo will be on the signage and Council
^ President Limpert replied that it will not. The new logo will be on all of the signs, not the
city seal or old logo. Kennedy said the property terminology would be "branding".
Lambert said we are talking about a logo, nonetheless. Councilman Kearney said he has not had anybody come to
him with concerns about the new branding. The City held numerous meetings and
welcomed public input while this branding initiative was going on. Councilman
Mahoney said that he likes the sign and new branding and it has gone through the proper
process. Gareau said the only people that he heard from regarding this issue were those
that were offended that Lambert took liberty with the branding initiative and felt the need
to mock it.
Gary Porter, 5155 Dover Center Road said he likes the new branding. The seal has
nothing to do with it. In the 71 years he has lived in North Olmsted, it has been changed
a few times.
Councilman Schumann moved for adoption.
