Council Minutes of OS-15-12 <br />,,~, Ordinance 2012-41 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />;~~, Ordinance abolishing Chapter 169 of the Administrative Code of the City of North <br />Olmsted entitled "Litter Control and Recycling Advisory Council." <br />Ordinance 2012-42 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance amending Section 917.99 entitled "Penalty" of Chapter 917 entitled <br />"Industrial Pretreatment" of the Streets, Utilities and Public Services Code in order to <br />eliminate affirmative defenses to treatment violations. <br />Ordinance 2012-44 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2012, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2012-45 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Planning and Development to advertise for bids <br />for the award of a contract to provide new gateway signage at vazious locations in the <br />city, as detailed in the specifications on file in the Planning Department, and authorizing <br />the Mayor, following approval of the Boazd of Control to contract for the same with the <br />lowest and best bidder, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2021-46 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to solicit bids for the collection and <br />disposal of solid waste and recyclable materials; and further authorizing the Mayor, upon <br />approval of the Boazd of Control, to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder, <br />and declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilman Barker scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Tuesday, May 22, 2012 <br />at 7:00 p.m. to discuss 2012-44 and 2012-45. The Mayor, Finance Director and <br />Planning/Development Director are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Schumann scheduled an Environmental Control Committee meeting for <br />Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 7:15 p.m. to discuss 2012-46. The Safety/Service Director and <br />Mayor are asked to attend. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before <br />Council, President Limpert adjourned the Council meeting at 8:40 p.m. <br />_ - <br />Marie Gallo, Clerk of Council Duane K.
