.~ MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />,~ <br />MARCH 20, 2012 <br />Present: President of Council Limpert; Council Members Barker, Kearney, <br />Mahoney, Orlowski, Schumann, Williamson <br />Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Law Gareau, Director of Finance Copfer, <br />Clerk of Council Gallo, Director of Planning and Development Wenger, <br />Director of Safety and Service Thomas, and Director of Human Resources <br />Farver <br />Absent: Council Member Brossard <br />President Limpert called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 <br />Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br />The Council meeting minutes of February 7, 2012 and March 7, 2012 were approved as <br />written. <br />The following legislation will be considered for suspension of the rules this evening: <br />Second Reading -Resolutions 2012-22, 2012-23 & 2012-24; First Reading -Resolutions <br />2012-26, 2012-27, 2012-28 & 2012-29. <br />Council President Limpert announced that there will be a special Council meeting on <br />Tuesday, March 27 at 7:00 p.m. and Thursday, March 29 at 6:00 p.m. <br />REPORTS <br />Mayor Kennedy: <br />He presented a Proclamation to Betty Albano, who started her career in 1968 as a nurse's <br />aide at Fairview Hospital and helped start one of the first paramedic programs in Ohio. <br />Director of Law Gareau: <br />• In the matter of Megan Frenz vs. City of North Olmsted Springvale Golf Course <br />and Ballroom. This case is awaiting argument in the 8~' Appellate District. <br />• The Law Dept. continues to work with the Planning Dept. to craft new, revised <br />and streamlined Property Maintenance Code. He hopes to see this legislation on <br />the agenda for the next Council meeting. <br />
