Councilman Barker stated that he is in receipt of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2012-17 adopted. Ordinance 2012-18 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $279,500 of Notes, in anticipation of the issuance of Bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of acquiring a sewer cleaner truck and chassis and all necessary appurtenances and related equipment. Councilman Barker stated that he is in receipt of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2012-18 adopted. Ordinance 2012-19 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $137,000 of Notes, in anticipation of the issuance of Bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of improving the City Hall Complex by preparing the surface of and surfacing and resurfacing parking areas and sidewalks, constructing and reconstructing curbs and providing landscaping, together with necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto. Councilman Barker stated that he is in receipt of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2012-19 adopted. Ordinance 2012-10 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An Ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2012, as amended. Councilman Barker made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. Resolution proclaiming April as Fair Housing Month in North Olmsted, Ohio. Resolution 2012-23 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing and directing the Director of Planning and Development to make application on behalf of the City of North Olmsted for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds for the fiscal year 2012 for the Country Club Boulevard Streetscape and Safety Enhancements Project, Phase II; further authorizing the use of city funds as the local match; further authorizing the Mayor to accept the grant if awarded and to execute a contract with Cuyahoga County, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2012-24 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy.
