Council Minutes of 02-21-2012 <br />Ordinance 2012-17 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />?,~ <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $404,500 of Notes, in anticipation of the <br />issuance of Bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of acquiring and installing computer <br />hardware and software, together with necessary appurtenances and work incidental <br />thereto. Councilman Barker stated that he is in receipt of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. <br />Ordinance 2012-18 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $279,500 of Notes, in anticipation of the <br />issuance of Bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of acquiring a sewer cleaner truck and <br />chassis and all necessary appurtenances and related equipment. Councilman Barker <br />stated that he is in receipt of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. <br />Ordinance 2012-19 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $137,000 of Notes, in anticipation of the <br />issuance of Bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of improving the City Hall Complex by <br />preparing the surface of and surfacing and resurfacing parking areas and sidewalks, <br />constructing and reconstructing curbs and providing landscaping, together with necessary <br />appurtenances and work incidental thereto. Councilman Barker stated that he is in receipt <br />of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. <br />Resolution 2012-20 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Orlowski. <br />A Resolution in opposition to the State of Ohio pursuing control of municipal income tax <br />collection, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2012-21 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance accepting a temporary easement and right of entry for construction of sanitary <br />sewer systems on property located on Beech Lane, Permanent Parcel Numbers 231-02- <br />067 and 231-02-068, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker made a motion to <br />suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Councilman Barker <br />moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance 2012-21 adopted. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilman Barker scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Tuesday, Feburary 25, <br />2012 at 9:00 a.m. to discuss 2012-20 during budget hearings. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before <br />Council, President Limpert adjourned the Council meeting at 9:31 p.m. <br />Marie Gallo, Clerk of Council Duane K.
